Join us Saturday evening, November 30th in the Library to welcome the singer James Gordon. Door opens at 6:30 and concert starts at 7:00. Tickets Available in advance at the library.

James Gordon

James Gordon has had a diverse and resilient career in the Canadian cultural sector. As a solo singer-songwriter and with the trio Tamarack, he’s recorded 40 albums and toured globally. His work spans symphony orchestras, musical theatre, scored films, and for more than ten years was heard on CBC radio as a songwriter-in-residence. Known for social justice and environmental songs, his viral hit “Crybabies Caravan” it gained over 300,000 views. James also runs a songwriting-in-the-schools program and his iconic song "Frobisher bay" has been recorded by over 100 artists. His latest album “When I Stayed Home” and his musical novel “The Ark Of The Oven Mitt” are recent highlights.
